Have you been sitting on an idea for a new business, program or other opportunity but you are just not sure where to start?
This course is for CLASS Fellows to prepare for the Leadership Institute and year long program! Get the idea out of your head and move towards success. This course includes hands on activities and information to help you determine your strengths to lead an initiative and develop a plan to get started.
Begin by learning more about your skills and strengths, to determine the best steps to achieving your dreams in Lesson 1 - Recognizing Your Entrepreneur and Leadership Potential. This section includes information on managing your time and growing your leadership skills to help you lead a successful new program or initiative.
Next, is Lesson 2 - G.R.O.W. Your Idea. This lesson starts with activities in a detailed step by step workbook to be completed prior to the in person activities at the Leadership Institute. Create your vision, mission, and strategies to make your idea a reality. During the Leadership Institute you will build on this initial pre work with activities to refine your goals and draft a plan towards implementing your idea. You will leave the Leadership Institute with a plan for success and key steps to accomplish over the next year. This includes our One Page Business Plan an easy to follow guide for implementation of your idea. This final step is a summary document that you can use to quickly review your plans and stay accountable to a timeline for implementation over the next year.
Each month during the CLASS program we will add new learning activities, resources and information to support your project development. This course is the foundation for the CLASS program and provides you with the necessary tools to move any idea to a plan of action.
